Here is the video footage of Tackling Poverty , the event put on by the Half in Ten Campaign, National League of Cities, and Spotlight on Poverty and Opportunity discussing the role of state and local governments in combating poverty, that this blog made reference to Our political stalemate required louder voices.
The From Poverty to Opportunity Campaign and the Commission on the Elimination of Poverty, represented by Heartland Alliance's Amy Rynell, is featured in the second panel of the event along with people speaking to efforts being made in New York City, Minnesota, and Connecticut.
Watch. Listen. Think about all that we can do.
Amy Rynell starts at 1:30 into the video, but the whole thing is interesting.
What are your thoughts on these presentations?
